The show retells the life of Alexander Hamilton, one of the American Founding Fathers, from his earliest days as a young broke immigrant to one of the most pivotal key players in the American Revolution and as the nation’s first Secretary of Treasury. It chronicles a tale of love and loss, both in and beyond politics, performed by an award-winning cast and crew. Rounded out by contemporary music genres of hip-hop, jazz, and R&B, it is a fast-paced retelling that has been received positively by audiences both in the U.S.A. and abroad.

Alexander Hamilton has done a tonne more than just be the main character of one of the best musicals of all time. In addition to being the first U.S. Secretary of Treasury, he also wrote the Federalist Papers, created the Coast Guard, and helped install the first National Bank.
How did all of those big and impossible achievements get written into a musical hit show?
Because Lin-Manuel Miranda is a musical mastermind, for sure. And his creativity started the path to Hamilton winning a GRAMMY, a Pulitzer Prize, and 11 Tony Awards! When the musical originaly debuted in 2015, it was quickly recieved huge rave reviews.

Hamilton aims to cast non-white actors to play all of its white historical figures. The existing ensamble of Hamilton actors is FILLED with talent, including the likes of Trey Curtis, Tamar Greene, Stephanie Jae Park, and many more.
