Hillary Clinton at Academy of Music

These lectures by Hillary Clinton truly started out as a promotional tour for the aforementioned book. Obviously, headlining shows during an election year was a great idea by her PR team. Especially considering that this year's race will look eerily similar to what we saw in 2016 when Clinton was on the ballot. On the first stops during this tour, Clinton had to field questions, in the highly anticipated Q&A section after the main show, about Joe Biden's ability to stay in the race. That issue seems like it took place last century! This upcoming stop in Philadelphia, though, is happening a few weeks removed from Clinton's speech at the Democratic Convention. She's become one of the biggest voices behind Kamala Harris' presidential bid at this point!

Does this mean that the lecture is going to turn into a political rally? Usually, these events are "guided" by a moderator who will join Hillary Clinton on stage. At least the first part of the talk will center on the book and perhaps include some of Hillary's lessons learned after the loss to Donald Trump in 2016.
