After the culmination of the 2013 film, Disney Theatrical Productions was in early development for a brilliant stage adaption. Bob Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, mentioned, “The first priority is when you have a property that is as beloved and music-based as Frozen, that has to get an enormous amount of my attention. Indeed, with such high standards, it took several years to finally debut the incredible musical. The production brought in the best talents in the circuit. He continued, “If the film is a preschool classic, the musical is maybe a couple of years more grown-up. But its most magical moments will wow every age group.”
Meanwhile, the Guardian gave Frozen a glowing five-star review, “Beyond the visual thrills and powerful ballads, this adaptation brings an unexpected depth to the relationship between two tortured sisters.”
